For the Love of Carbs

As a mother of four, my journey into the world of baking began with a simple desire to provide the best food ingredients for my family. This passion soon evolved into a mission to share the joy of homemade sourdough bread with others. It all started when I decided to embark on the sourdough-making adventure, crafting each loaf with love and care in the comfort of my home.

To make this endeavor even more special, our sourdough starter earned the endearing name "Ethel." Inspired by the positive response from my own household, I encouraged my husband to extend an invitation to his colleagues to sample our homemade creations. From that moment on, our hobby transformed into a delightful venture that reached beyond the confines of our home.

We've happily expanded our reach, making deliveries of our artisanal sourdough bread all over the island. The joy of sharing this ancient bread-making technique has become a rewarding experience, and we've had the pleasure of witnessing the smiles it brings to the faces of those who taste our creations.

What truly fuels my passion is the exploration of diverse flavors and recipes from around the world. Whether it's incorporating unique ingredients or experimenting with traditional techniques, each loaf is a canvas for culinary creativity. I find immense satisfaction in the process of discovery and the anticipation of sharing these new and exciting flavors with our growing community of bread enthusiasts.

In essence, my journey from a mom seeking the best for her family to a sourdough enthusiast sharing the love of this ancient bread-making art has been nothing short of fulfilling.
